Coldwells House lies just outside the city of Hereford, providing residents all the amenities of the city. From the famous cathedral and the River Wye to the shops, banks and theatres, residents are encouraged to capitalise on Hereford's natural and cultural benefits. The hospital and GP surgery are also very close by.
Coldwells House, a painted Georgian Villa, has recently undergone a complete architectural refurbishment; it has been extended and altered to take better advantage of the natural light and surrounding countryside afforded by this unique property. The interior of the building has been tastefully furnished, while the gardens have been landscaped. There is a greenhouse used by the residents in their regular gardening club.
The gardens and their wonderful views offer ease of access to all our residents, with sheltered seating and wide, wheelchair friendly paths laid throughout. There is also a secure garden area.
People said staff were kind and caring and treated them with dignity and respect.
