We did a bit of hobnobbing with royalty yesterday Neil, Norma, Elsie, Gail & myself enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea at Highgrove in Gloucestershire. It was delicious & the surroundings were just stunning. Unfortunately we had to leave our mobile phones in the car for security reasons but I did risk getting tasered to quickly grab these few pics! We were greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival & were able to see a whole array of Prince Charles’ original watercolours which are beautiful. The afternoon tea was served in a stunning room adorned with a huge Christmas tree, open log fire & more paintings of the Queen, the families dogs etc. All the glasses & china bore Prince Charles’ crest. We then mooched round the fabulous shop before heading home very happy Thank you to Gail for organising this, I absolutely loved it & so did the residents. We’ll definitely be visiting again, I can highly recommend it
